Previously in PMC, any service configuration could be linked to any tenant, including configurations set up for a different organization. With the new release of PMC, this gap is now closed. When a service configuration is linked to a tenant, the list now offers only shared configurations (not tied to any organization) and configurations that belong to the same organiaation as the tenant. This applies to email (SMTP), reporting (SSRS), analytics (SSAS), job scheduling (SQL Agent) and Advanced Analytics configurations. Selection lists are shorter and easier to scan, and each organization's services now stay strictly its own, thus improving the security and confidentiality around each tenant configuration. |
